More than a hundred student (mainly from The Federation Of Patani Student and Youth) gathered and campaigned in conjunction with Patani Humanitarian Day, which is held every February 3. The event was held at Lan Saeng Chan courtyard at the Faculty of Fine Art, Prince of Songkla University [Pattani campus].

Protection of Civilians.

This year is the second anniversary of the death of three Patani boys on February 3, 2014.

Students and young activists living in conflict-torn south Thailand are campaigning to raise awareness of the importance and value of life, and the human rights of civilians, which must be protected from all military operations and abuse of authoritative power.

They used umbrellas as a sign of “civilian protection”, banners, reading statements and declaration of the group and writing opinions.

#3 february PATANI Humanitarian Day

วันพุธที่ 3 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2559 เวลา 12.00 น. ณ ลานแสงจันทร์ ฝั่งคณะศิลปกรรม มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์วิทยาเขตปัตตานี กลุ่มนักศึกษา สหพันธ์นิสิตนักศึกษา นักเรียนและเยาวชน ปาตานี-PerMAS (เขตพื้นที่ปัตตานี) ประมาณ 100 กว่าคนได้รวมตัวกันเพื่อจัดกิจกรรมรณรงค์ “ปกป้องคุ้มครองพลเรือน” ทั้งนี้ได้ประกาศให้วันที่ 3 กุมภาพันธ์ของทุกปีเป็นวันมนุษยธรรมปาตานี (PATANI Humanitarian Day) ปีนี้ถือเป็นปีที่สอง และเป็นวันครบรอบ 2 ปีเหตุการณ์เด็กเสียชีวิต สามศพ(พลเรือนปาตานี)เหตุเกิดเมื่อ (3 กุมภาพันธ์ 57) กิจกรรมนี้ได้รณรงค์เพื่อให้สังคมตระหนักถึงความสำคัญและให้คุณค่ากับทุกชีวิต อีกทั้งยังต้องการให้ตระหนักถึงสิทธิของพลเรือนที่ต้องได้รับการปกป้องคุ้มครองจากการปฏิบัติการทางการทหารของทั้งสองฝ่าย โดยผ่านรูปแบบกิจกรรม การแปรอักษรสื่อสารเจตนารมณ์การจัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ โดยใช้ “ ร่ม “ เป็นสัญลักษณ์การปกป้องพลเรือน ชูป้ายผ้า อ่านแถลงการณ์และคำประกาศ การเขียนโน้ตสื่อสารโดยการมีส่วนร่วมของนักศึกษาทั่วไปที่เดินผ่านไปมาด้วย
