In February 2016, students from the law faculty of Chiang Mai University conducted a parade and show, that mocked and condemned the increasing institutional repression of the population and poor state of rights under the junta rulers. Political parodies and activism are as much a tradition of universities as the right of Thai students to express their collective and individual views.
