Home
Urban settlements, with their self-built structures of mismatched wood, cheap cement and rusted zinc. They’re vulnerable to rain and flood, and now, the dreaded cold.
Maze
Neighbourhoods, their alleys filled with random shifting shadows and biting wind. The slum is often seen as hazardous, or at times a labyrinth of human complexity and societal neglect.
Passage
The twisted narrow lanes offer a multidimensional view of loss. Uneven ground and paths that have seen countless trampling feet and wheels. Dim lights fail to hide the punishment.
Realm
Overcrowding and cohabitation. Families share one-room homes; such cramped dwellings, huts to many, are used for cooking, for living. They slumber now, behind these walls that offer little protection against the merciless cold.
